LIDL OPENS TEMPORARY LIBRARY OF CONTEMPORARY DESIGN

Design Bookery will offer over 100 books of contemporary design at One Design Week

From June 10th to 19th the eighth edition of One Design Week will take place in Plovdiv. The theme of the festival this year is “- Can I Help You?” and the main sponsor of the event, Lidl is answering the open ended question posed. During the festival, guests can visit the Design Bookery – a library of contemporary design whose purpose is to give more inspiration to both design professionals and amateurs.

Design Bookery contains more than 100 books and journals in different categories of design from leading publishers such as Gestalten, Laurence King, Unit Editions and Victionary. Visitors to the festival will be able to find titles in the fields of illustration, graphic, product, interior and web design selected by experts in each of the fields. The library can be visited in Plovdiv between June 10th and 19th at the City Art Gallery, Ul. Stanislaus Dospevski. After Plovdiv, Lidl Design Bookery will open to visitors in Sofia from June 20th to the 25th, at the National Academy of Arts. Anyone who visits the library and takes a picture with the space can join the drawing for a trip to the London Design Festival in September. The full terms of the game and more information for Design Bookery can be found on http://db.onedesignweek.com.
