One Design Week 2016 and betahaus Sofia are searching for the design which makes a change. Take part in the competition/exhibition and show how design influences our world and makes it better.

The applications should be inspired by the manifest of the festival “– Can I help you?” and should present how design molds the tangible and intangible at all scales – from the spoon to the city – being an inherent part of our everyday: work, free time, traffic, buildings, communication, food production, waste management and even our relationships. In this manner designers nowadays play a valuable role in the reconfiguration of society.

The invitation is open for artists – web and/or graphic designers, product designers, photographers, illustrators, typographers, architects, conceptual artists or just creative thinkers. The participation of high school students and university students will be very welcomed and supported by the organiяers.

The design of your suggestions will be printed in size 50/70 cm. Please send your files ready for print in CMYK and 300dpi.

After the deadline there will be 1 week for the selection of the received materials and the event will turn into an exhibition of the selected participants. The event will take place on June 1 in our favourite betacafe with a proper opening, summer cocktails and good music. The three finalists will also receive accreditation for ONE DESIGN WEEK 2016 FORUM on June 18 in Boris Hristov House of Culture, Plovdiv.
