The project presents Bulgarian design created during the last year and selected by Studio Komplekt. The unusual thing is that the 13 projects will be shown on the shop windows of Plovdiv’s main pedestrian thoroughfare. The context of the commercial spaces will serve as the background for the chosen posters, furniture, clothes, animation, infographics, toys and jewels, accessories etc. The location choice was dictated by the popularity of the city’s main street, through which the inhabitants and visitors pass. The aim is that the regular passersby be surprised by the unusual interventions in the shop windows of their familiar stores, as well as them becoming familiar with Bulgarian designers. The selection includes works by the graphic designers Luba Haleva, Teodor Georgiev, Print Nest, as well as the product designers Cache Atelier and Another Studio, the popular brands Garderob and Tin Tin, the design innovators Playground Energy, the paper designer Tsvetislava Koleva, the unique toy brand A Forest Story, the infographic authors Morphocode, the animators Compote Collective, the jewelers Iana Tankovska and Evgenia Tsankova, as well as the ceramic designer Emilia Emilova.
