Nadia Nikolova (UX designer in Melon and founder of NoCarbs) and Stoyan Ilchev from the digital agency Despark work as designers with a focus on easy access to new technologies and an enjoyable online user experience.
Although new technologies are used on a daily basis, consumers are still more critical of their offline environment than they are of their digital devices. The lecturers are convinced that digital illiteracy leads to poor quality websites and applications. According to Nadia and Stoyan this is unacceptable, because digital platforms are designed to facilitate our lives and make us use a service many times over, not vice versa. They make a distinction between two types of UX (user experience) design. One is concerned with the usefulness of a given online service, and the other serves as inspiration and aims to encompass the entire user experience of a digital product. During their open lecture, Nadia and Stoyan will acquaint designers and lovers of digital devices with the role of digital design and its opportunities.
The project is selected from the open call of ONE DESIGN WEEK 2016.
