See_Mo

Digital artist and designer Desislava Desseva has joined forces with multimedia artist Petko Tanchev to create a unique mecha- being-See_Mo.
The interactive object was first shown as a part of the exhibition Human Morphs, curated by Desislava , in the Sofia gallery at the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in London. There, the display fit into the general context of the event, which was to offer different aspects of the constant changes in the relationship between people and technology. As first-hand observers of this process, the authors work together to present and interpret the metamorphosis to a digital reality and how that process molds people’s perception and reactions. Some of the ideas on this subject are successfully integrated in the See_Mo installation.  See_Mo is a mechanical being that has the ability to perceive the surrounding environment in a unique way through the interaction of digital and analogue. See_Mo can feel people’s presence and translate it into its own visual language, recreating their physical presence in a digital way.

The project is selected from the open call of ONE DESIGN WEEK 2016.
